Can anything be done with this please ? (& what regiment ?)

Sorry if the resolution isnt right, but I had a "one time only" to get this and it was taken with my camera.
Also can someone hazard a guess as to the regiment ? (I assume WW1)

Heres My Attempt also enlarged cap badge to see if any of our military experts know what regiment?

Looking at the cap badge, it could be South Wales Borderers. Have a look at the badge on this link - I don't know if you can see anything more clearly on your copy of the photo
