I am researching Isaac Cohen who was convicted at the Old Bailey on 4/3/1844,sentenced to 10 years, and transported to Van Diemens land [Tasmania].He was a tailor, and lived in Houndsditch, prior to conviction. He was released on 4/3/1854,but I have been unable to find any records of him after that.Has anyone any knowledge of him,or his family?

Have you tried trawling the Australian newspaper archives to see if there's anything likely to be your Isaac COHEN? The trouble is, that that is not an unusual name, so you'd need to find something distinctive in any articel to be confident about claiming it was relevant.
