The members of this forum have been very helpful over the last couple of days with a query regarding Alfred Cross who married Amelia Lawrence on 25th December 1915.

In my search for Amelia on the 1901 census I think she has been mis transcribed (if thats a word). Could someone have a look for me, the reference is RG 13/313 Pge 35 and there is a number 22 stamped on the right hand side of the page which I assume is relevant. She was born in 1894 in Mile End Old Town/Poplar/Stepney area of London.

    Thanks

On ancestry she is transcribed as Milner !! Class: RG13; Piece: 313; Folio: 22; Page: 35.

Looking at the original, if it's Amelia, I don't think the enumerator knew how to spell it and waffled.
