The four people linked together are my Nana and Grandad, and my Great Aunt and Uncle.
(Nana and Grandad on the right, Great Aunt and Uncle on left)
Sadly, Grandad passed away in 2009 and Great Uncle in 2010.

Great! thanks, made me think of my mother when she was a younger woman.
Quite a bold T shirt to wear with the suit at that time )

Lovely pictures Tom to look back on. I have some family pictures in similar vein of days out at the beach. From the 30's and 40's. Maybe you should start a thread going.

Great photos Tom and good quality for the day I have Blackpool holiday snaps from the 1950's.
As Jen said, you ought to start a thread on the Photos section.
Chrissie passed away in January 2020.

              Thanks everyone.

Can you really Julie? It has never been said before. I take more after my Nana's family (I'm a Colwood through and through lol).

Think I will start a thread.

Now I definately don't have the Gregory nose! I have the Colwood nose, same as Mum and Nana.

Great Pictures Tom. I love the way the men went and sunbathed suited and booted in those days, whatever the weather!

Hope it's okay to add mine. This is one of my favourite family pictures taken in summer 1956, probably at Southend on Sea.

(Left to right), My Nan, Great Grandad, my Great Aunt,Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother . Little boy is my uncle!

I have now started a new thread in the general photo section for all old family holiday photos.

                        Great photo Richard!
