Following on from a number of threads, I just need some advice and or help with where to go with the information I have on Samuel Chiddicks who emigrated from Essex to New York in 1852.
New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957
Samuel Chiddicks born c1827 - occ. labourer
Port of departure - Liverpool
Port of arrival - New York, USA - 21 Jul 1852
Ship Name: St George
Thanks to some kind help and the fulton history pages, I have found a Mr Chiddicks listed in the Brooklyn daily Eagle in 1872, so I am assuming it could be the same person.
I have searched various sites online, followed some of the suggestions on the Wiki on here and other sites, but not sure now where to go with this. Would ancestry world membership be any help or would other sites such as World Vital records be any better.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
