Thanks to Linda's thread on fultonhistory and New York papers, I now have a chiddicks in Brooklyn in 1872, can some kind person do a quick search on the passenegr lists on ancestry for me to see if he is there anywhere thanks

Is there much available on ancestry that covers the USA. I have not had to search the USA for records before, so wondering if taking an ancestry subscription will be worthwhile or not??? Dont want to go to the additional expense of world wide subscription only to find nothing there on my Samuel Chiddicks anyway
