No sign of any Chiddicks by doing a general search on Ancestry under Immigration and Travel. No surnames anywhere near.

How did you find that one, Elaine?

Got him. I was looking too late, for someone younger.

Is there much available on ancestry that covers the USA. I have not had to search the USA for records before, so wondering if taking an ancestry subscription will be worthwhile or not??? Dont want to go to the additional expense of world wide subscription only to find nothing there on my Samuel Chiddicks anyway
