  • 1911 census help

    Just trying to find my great-grandfather in 1911 census. John Edwin Barnes born 1890 Poplar. He was in the Army died in action in Gallipoli.
    The only listing i can find that fits is John Barnes listed as overseas military aged 22 which fits, will the census transcription tell me anymore to confirm ??

        The cover of that census tells me it's 'C' Company 1st Battalion. The Essex Regiment (44th) Baluchistan India
