  • do you know that thing when someone just disappears?

I just can't take this man forward and wondered if someone would cast a fresh pair of eyes.
George Robert Andrews son of George Frederick Andrews and Edith Harriett Page.
Birth 12 Nov 1857 in Lambeth, Surrey, England.
On the 1861 Census in Paddington with his parents age 4
    BUT THEN NOTHING
    No census
    No marriage
    No death
He is not to be confused with William George Robert Andrews Greenwich, b Mar Quarter 1857 Andrews, Greenwich and later seen in Deptford.

    Any thoughts?

Hello Greenwood - I had a look at the 1861 census and then the 1871 and I wondered then if perhaps he had been sent away to school.

I did find a George B Andrews a pupil at Enfield Middx and when I checked the entry the B looked more like an R than a B - and although I am not too sure how close Clapham is to Lambeth it may be near enough for his birthplace.

    I hope this helps

Peckham is in the Borough of Southwark. It is south east London and Clapham is south west London
