Hi - another question please? I am struggling with the place names on this new programme. I have tried to enter Ilford, Essex, but it offers me all sorts of alternatives around the world. Has anyone had any similar problems or do you have a suggestion as to how I can find Ilford, Essex?

It's one element of the program I find very annoying so have switched the "fastfield location" options off.
TOOLS / OPTIONS / GENERAL
Untick the box "Check place authority when entering place names"

This does of course mean that you need to enter the location yourself, but the program will remember any locations you have submitted, so for example if you have more than one entry for Ilford, Essex, as you start typing the word Ilford the next time it should bring it up as one of the options.
