Having managed to break my last four port USB hub just before Christmas when I knocked a glass of wine all over it, I ordered a new one from 7dayshop which arrived yesterday. I plugged it in and its light came on so I assumed it was working fine.
Today, I plugged a memory stick into it to transfer some photos. The light came on on the memory stick but my pc doesn't seem to recognise that it is there i.e. it doesn't appear on My Computer, or as an option to send to from My Pictures.
Can anyone suggest why the memory stick lights up but is not recognised by my pc? I am running Windows XP.
