Beryl L Barrett in Katoomba 1935
Beryl wasnt from England -she was originally from OZ or NZ
They had 2 children,one girl,one boy
Can only remember the boy
Harold B Smith born c 1945 (give or take a few years) -known as Barry
Girls name not known.
The family lived in the Pennant Hills area
Last contact was in the 1970's when Harolds(snr) brother died in 1975 -he was John Patrick Smith (also born Liverpool -joined Merchant Navy and Oz army -) His death was registered Manly NSW.
Harold Cain- Smith invented a breaking valve that was patented and his son Carried on the patent right through to at least the 1970's.
Barry and his mother seem to have disappeared of the face of the earth
