  • TNA Bookshop ...

Just been looking at the bookshop on the National Archives website - a great selection and some good bargains to be had in the "January sales".
Problem is now I have started looking I can't stop hitting the button which says Add to basket :D

For anyone who doesn't know it, can I recommend Helen Castor's "Blood & Roses". No idea why it's so cheap....I got a hardback copy just before Cheistmas via Abe Books for 2 pounds 90 including postage. The American edition is supposed to be pretty sumptuous if you don't mind paying one/two pounds more

They always have quite a lot of reduced books in the actual bookshop at Kew so when you go, Elaine, perhaps you'd better take some extra cash!

Don't worry Ann, I will. Spent quite a bit last year when I was there but am sure I can find something else that I really must have! :D
