Unable to install FTM 2011 for Mac on my laptop

I have installed FTM 2011 on my iMac without a problem but when I try to load it onto my laptop (Macbook Pro) I receive an error about the computer 'not supporting this architecture'. The license says it is valid for up to 2 machines and both machines are running OS10.5.8. I have tried several times to load it and get the same msg each time. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how do you fix it?
