  • WPA2 can I change?

I have had problems, both with wifi on home computer, but also I could not connect with Kindle.I tried Kindle at a friend's house but still could not connect.I now discover that if I have WPA2 it will not connect.I have found something which says Network Authentication WPA2-PSK.Can I change it myself by clicking on either WPA or WPA PSK? If so which one?

Found this on another forum, which allows you to connect Kindle to WPA2 network...

    1.) Enter in the SSID
    2.) Leave the password BLANK
    3.) Hit Submit
4.) It will then say it can't find the network, but would I like to set it up manually.
5.) Hit YES, and then change the advanced menu to WPA2 and then enter your password.
    6.) Hit Done

If that doesn't work, change to WPA-PSK and see if that works. Be aware you may need to re-setup the wireless on any laptops too because of the setting change.

Thank you Dave.Tried that. I presume that SSID is the name of my WI-Fi network.I got a signal but it still would not connect.I underlined WPA2,then put in password. At the moment there is no network in view.so I can't try again yet.this WiFI is going to be the death of me! TT keeps telling me it must be the fault of my wireless adapter but when I look at network connections I see the network adapter and according to microsoft that shows it has been properly installed.Would be glad of your opinion.
