Robert Ward & Family - Can anyone see them in the dreaded 1841 census?

Robert Ward (jr) b. 1832 Plymouth, Devon

In 1851 (HO107; Piece: 1584; Folio: 680; Page: 24) he is living with his mother Elizabeth (b. 1808 Plymouth, Devon) and his brother Alfred (b.1839 Sheerness, Kent) and his sister Jane (b.1846 Deptford Kent)

His mother is listed as married but his father is not listed with the family. According to Roberts marriage certificate in 1852 his father is Robert Ward Shipwright.

Elizabeth is recorded as a widow in 1861 and is working as a nurse in Deptford. Class: RG9; Piece: 396; Folio: 82; Page: 16

I think you'd find it useful to get some Devonshire FHS resources if you have family to research there.

This seems to be the only family I have in Devon (at the moment) and it isn't a direct line ancestor. I did have a look on FMP and got some good hits on their parish records but its just too expensive when I add to the fact I already have ancestry.

They might just have to wait until next year when this sub expires
