If a woman was in Hospital on the census record and she and the other women were probably new mothers ??? would all new borns be listed too????

They should be. I think there have been occasions when babes have been listed as hours old.

Perhaps they went somewhere else when they had given birth. Or perhaps all the babies were still waiting to be born
