This extremely not important! (Not my own tree, and not even direct in the tree of the friend for whom I'm doing it!) But it's bugging me. I can't find any trace of him after the 1901 census.
Archibald Bartholomew RAINE
b 1889q2 Langley Moor, Durham
1891 RG12/4105 fo131 p4: "Archbold" age 2; 21 Sherburn Ho Mill, DUR
1901 RG13/4640 fo174 p31: age 12; 38 Kilwick St, W Hartlepool (Stranton All Sts)
1911 ?

emigrated?
changed his name ?
I gather he was inclined to use his second name.
I can't find him on FMP. I can't find him on Ancestry (tho' I don't have a sub, but I should still be able to see that there's a record if there is one). I can't find him in the London Gazette. There's not even a sign of him if I google.
There's an Archibald Daniel RAINE (b 1912q4 Romney Marsh, Kent, mmn=SUTHERLAND; m (no detail); d <1984) sculling around, but I don't have the full detail on him. He is not, anyway, the one I'm after.
