Does anyone know if it's possible to ask if a certain person is buried there ? I've got someone who is, but it's his brother I'm really interested in & I don't know if he was buried there or not

The micro fiche are held at the Nottingham archives and I think they are index linked to names. Worth a try there and see how much it would cost for the research.
If you have a date he married / last child born to the couple and know if he is on the 1841 census it will mean there is a smaller time gap to look at.
Depending on where he lived I have found most of mine at St Marys that died between 1750-1850.Lin

It opened in 1837 so there is a good chance he wasn't buried there but in a churchyard somewhere.
Only just seen Lin's post.... great minds!Last edited by Tom Tom; 12-11-10, 19:12.
