D-Link Wireless adapter

have installed this on a Desktop to make it wireless says installed but cannot find a network ???? anybody please?????????????

The answer to your problem following on from your 2 routers may be Homeplugs , if you have your router that works wirelessly indoors and then plug one of the homeplugs into a socket close to the router and connect it to the router with a network cable ( RJ45 ) and then plug the other homeplug into a socket in the garage and connect to the computer with another network cable you should have a connection back to the router.
I have a pair that I use to connect my Satellite receiver to the internet so that I can watch IPlayer on the TV.
