I am descended from the Richards, Madron, Cornwall.
In have done a lot of research over the past 16yrs and made many discoveries. My blood line started off in London where I discovered from census that my family hailed from Penzance, quite a surprise as I have always loved Cornwall. However, it has now occured to me having gone off in all directions here and overseas with many different names, just how little I know in comparison about my roots. Therefore, I thought I would ask The Forum if any member has roots in Madron/Penzance area and in particular the RICHARDS surname, followed closely by LADNER & MICHEL in this area.
Thomas Richards, born 1771 my x2 grandfather, son of Solomon Richards, left Madron c1806 for London.
