  • Help with 2 Marriages please

    Wonder if anybody can help with finding these two marriages?
    Samuel Keen born abt 1760 marries
    Susannah ???
    First child ??Son John born abt 1785 in Cripplegate Middlesex

    This Son

    John Keen born abt 1785 in Cripplegate Middlesex marries
    Christian or Christiana born abt 1791 according to 1851 in London
    First child Christian born 1806 Middlesex

    Any ideas at all thanks

      Not much help Val but do you think this is the baptism of Christian mistranscribed?

      9 Aug 1807 - Christian Keene - son of John Keene and Christian Keene - St Botolph Aldersgate, City of London
      Chrissie passed away in January 2020.

        Oops - am I reading this right - Christian seems to have been born when John was only 15!

          That christening is their Daughter Chrissie.
          I am not sure when she was born but in

          1841 says born 1791

          cannot find her in 1851 wish I could

          1861 says born 1785

          1866 dies saying born 1780 ???????????

              found a marriage for a John Keene and a Christiana Lowrie in 1806 Christchurch Newgate which is quite likely mine , found a Baptism for a Christian Lowria 8 Apr 1787 in St Botolph without Aldersgate, Parents John and Jane Lowria would you agree this could be them just a different spelling??? Thanks
