    This one has me stumped any help at all appreciated
    I am trying to tie up loose ends

    Henry O'Keeffe Full age Widower a Box maker Father John deceased

    marries 30 May 1871 St James The Great Bethnal Green

    Sophia Sanders Full age Widow

    no addresses given

    Witnesses Frances Allen and Emma Edwards

    Henry dies in Camberwell 1897 registered as Henry Keefe

    The only census I can find him on is 1881 at 6 Angel Place St Saviours Southwark he is a Boxmaker transcribed as Henry Keefe

    Cannot find him with first Wife either???

    Henry aged 23 Occupation Bedstead Maker was married to

    Maria Dingwall 18 Feb 1857 Church of St Andrew Lambeth
    Occupation Bedstead Maker

    Father John a Tailor

          s'ok, his yob is stated about 1831, though I had a quick look for Marias death and couldnt see one in the right time frame.. he should be a widower with the children in 1871 as he didnt marry sophia until the May as the census was taken in the April before.

              well maybe, but what if she didnt die then? and he changed his name slightly and married bigamosly?

              I think I have found John b.1858 the son as a boxmaker in 1881 married have you got info on these?

                    no I hadnt seen that Tree Julie I have his name down as O'Keefe maybe thats why , interestingly that person does not have a mothers name for John ? think I will contact them ,and thanks for that 1881 census I wasnt going to bother with John as I'm more interested in Henry and his wives at the moment lol, just hope it isnt eight ????

                      lol! Val, I suppose its just habit with me when I find a family I tend to track all of them to see if they have any other living rellies with them on census night..

                      I couldnt find Henry at all with Sophia after the 1881 like you. I will have another look though, they have to be there somewhere don't they?

                          Thanks Julie for trying, I'm not surprised ,I do usually put the close family in my Tree but wanted to find this Henry first.
