Lost Jeremiah Carroll

I wonder if anyone can help me?

I have Jeremiah up to 1881 Census when he is living with his brother Thomas Carroll and family in Garden Terrace SW1 (London)

Can't find him after that. He was born 1862 in Lambeth, Surrey and the younger children seem to have been in childrens homes on 1871 census's.

I thought I had found his death in 1883 and got the certificate but I looked up the address given on the informant information on 1881 census and although that was a John Carroll, father and son Jeremiah it was the wrong one.

Hi - might be a red herring - there is this one in Hackney and the birth year isn't too far out..

There was also a man with the same name and spelling in the Old Bailey Site, but the age says 47 for an offence in 1895
