  • Can anyone read this?

I'm transcribing a will written in 1618. This phrase refers to something the Testator is leaving to one of his sons, but I can't work out what it says. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks, folks.

Difficult to be sure without the context, but I'd say...

      littell joined chest
In that context, I suppose that the word "joined" is as in "joinery"?

Thanks Julie! I'd posted this in another forum and someone there came up with the same suggestion as Christine - thank you so much. I'm getting better at reading old scripts, but this had me stumped. Now I just want to know what was IN the little joined chest! :0)
