Can anyone tell me where to obtain my ggrandfathers Royal Canadian Rifles records.
His name was private Henry Clarke b1817 in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Enlisted in the RCR in1858 until 1868.
He returned to England with a wife (my ggrandmother) and three children, one of which was recorded with them on the 1861 Canadian census.
I would like to find out who his commanding officer was, where he was billeted and the area`s he may have been serving in.
