1891 census

Hi - In Sept 1889, Abraham Levenson/Levenzon married Hannah Hayman/Nayman in
Leeds. The address was 77 Concord Street. They had a number of children, the first I can see is Max Isaac Levenson registered June quarter, 1891.
Can anybody see them in 1891? Thanks.

when/where was abraham born please, is doubtful if the child would be on that census as I seem to recall that they were usually taken in april time

Hi Julie - thanks for the dates - Concord St was in Leeds. At the time of the marriage, Abraham was aged 25, a tailor, father Michael, a cap maker, and Hannah/Annie's (no occupation) father was Israel, a brewer. She was aged 21.
When Max was born, the address was 81 Concord Street, Leeds.

they are living at 81, Concord Street, Leeds with all the children you have listed, his wife is listed as 'Annie' surname given as LEVENSON
Abraham is said to be 40 and comes from Russia (russian subj) whilst Annie is said to be 36 and russia/russian subj his occupation is tailor.

they do have a couple lodging with them.

Louis CANTOR (M) aged 27 occ tailor russia/russian subj
Serion? CANTOR (M) aged 18 Russia/russian subj.

looks like husband and wife.

That's great, thanks Julie. Another query for them - of the children - I can't see anything further for Max Isaac, Kate and Harris except their birth reg's....and I'm also having difficulty trying to find the family in 1911.
Max Isaac June 1891 - ?
Kate June 1892 - ?
David April 1893 went to US on Nov.1, 1920-died Oct.31, 1969 in California.
In July,1911-1914 David was living with his aunt, Leah Jacobs, at 7 Armenia Grove, Manor Street, Roundhay Road, Leeds.
I'm not sure how the Jacob's are connected..to the Levenson side or the Hayman/Nayman side, and I don't know why David was living with his aunty.
Harris June 1895- ?
Morris June 1897 married Henrietta Rosenthall 1929, he died Nov24th,1967 in Leeds
Michael Sept 1898 also known as Michal married Millie Nayman 1927
Wolf June 1900 arrived in Canada 1924, went to US in 1926 and moved in with his brother David in Brooklyn.
Their father, Abraham, died Sept 10th, 1918 in Leeds, surname showed as Leveson. I'm not sure about Annie's death and
not sure if the Cantor's are related.

I think that this service record is yours, the person that signed for his medal was an Annie Levenson. were they living at 21 browns square in 1911?
