Shot and killed 25 Oct 1903 New Bedford, Massachusetts

For a number of years I have had this information that Robert Dixon born 1884 in Royton near Oldham died at 1 Mcguirk Street, New Bedford age 19 as shown .... but I do not know if it is correct or any other details.
Can anyone confirm or let me know any more information about the death.

A google news search for 1903 > "new bedford" dixon shot , throws this up on a pay-per-view site. It's rather garbled but it could be worth a try.

I had checked on Google before enquiring but found nothing... this both gives more information and confirms that the event happened.
I does appear that I failed to reply but I did so yesterday but it is not here so I probably messed it up again.
I can see what you mean about it being garbled but it does explain that it was an accident.
