I do wish people wouldn't call them nerds!!! My son is not a nerd he is an IT specialist. Sorry he's not here at the moment so can't help.

Mixed blessings! I have a son and a son in law working in computers, one is a software engineer, who is too busy with job and young family and the other one works on the IT technical side of a National newspaper who is too busy with his job so I pay someone to sort our computer problems!:(

Well I think it sounds horrible. My son works at home, as a Web Developer and does repairs and builds PCs and Laptops. He is usually very good at sorting out problems for me.
