Legacy help please

Can anyone using Legacy deluxe help with a question please

There is an option to search Family records centre (LDS) for the current person but then it asks you to create a password etc. to 'join'. What I want to know is - will LDS then take the information in my Legacy database and upload it to their site?
I have ploughed my way through the t&cs but am still unsure.

Sorry if it's a daft question but I am being cautious

Hi Christine,
I don't think Legacy have got to the stage of "linking" - I think the version is 7.004 and when they go to 7.005 that is when the "link" will take place. I haven't gone into it thoroughly I must admit - I have stuck to 7.001! If you go to the Legacy User Group forum and look either in the archives or if you can't find an answer there send an email to the group someone will answer you.

I will look at the forum as you suggest.

I was considering using the search within the program to save me time but I don't want my tree details uplifted as it's still a work in progress!
