  • Death needed

Following up this tree - that isn't mine!

I've got Violetta C Fogg b 1877 in Ashbourne in the 1881 then she disappears. I'm presuming she dies as she is not old enough to marry.

    I can't find a death at first glance...any takers?

Thanks Mike - that looks promising - so long as I can find her in between time! That's a lot of time to fill!!!

          Cheers Mike

It's really vital I get the inbetween bits sorted so I don't miss any possible Fogg offspring - I'll get back onto it shortly now I know she is still around

you need to see if she was a spinster on her marriage certificate as she is past child baring age in 1926

Thanks Mike - its the bit between 1881 and marriage that is important really. Cheers for your help.

My grandparents did not marry until they were age 55 and 57 in 1923 but that did not stop them from having 4 children whilst they thought about getting married!

Any "in between bits" are likely to be fatherless Fogg-lets, given that she was 49 at marriage, and assuming it's the same Violetta.

I agree UJ - but if they are fatherless - then they will be called Fogg and I am interested in those - especially if male!!

Now I can see the head of the household or the son fancying the maid, but the cook ?
