  • Looking for WARRY after 1901

I am trying to locate the whereabouts of Eliel (Eli) and Fanny WARRY. In 1901 they are in Paull, Yorkshire - he is a Sergeant, Royal Engineers (he also, I believe, serves during WWI according to likely Medal Card at TNA)

I cannot find them in 1911 or any time from 1901 until their deaths 1924 and 1930, in Tynemouth District, Northumberland.

It is very likely that both Paull and Tynemouth (poss. North Shields) are connected to the Royal Engineers, via the Coast Battalion

I wonder if anyone can help with any information on them?

Any sighting post-1911 would be a needle in a haystack coincidence. And in 1911 they could either be mistranscribed or on an army posting outside England and Wales. For example, I believe there were forces postings to India just prior to WWI.

If Eliel was born in 1863 in West Chinnock, Somerset then his service and pension records are available on Ancestry. I am just on my way out, but could some kind soul point Bertie in the right direction, otherwise I could sort something out tomorrow if you P.M. me Bertie.
