but when I try looking for a death in 1992 on Ancestry on 1916-2005 Death index, it won't let me search 1992 as a year in itself, it only goes upto 1983! What am I doing wrong?

Yes please, Lillian Hope (Lilly) Wilcox died 1992 (not sure of area but is more than likely Berkshire/Oxfordshire). I am trying to check someone else's findings! Thank You Elaine

OK, thanks anyway, I have tried looking up a marriage as well but can't find one that suits, I think I am going to contact the tree owner to see where they found the information!

Yes, Lillian Hope (Lilly used on 1911 census) Wilcox, however, after just speaking to my Nan she thinks she died in Kent not Oxfordshire/Berkshire! So I am off to have a look!!

Ignore the bit that says Wilcox, her surname was Bland!!!! Thats where I am confused as she was illegitemate and didn't 'belong' to Mr Wilcox!!!!
