Gloucestershire Registration Service are putting their civil registration indexes online.

It isn't by any means complete yet, but the real bonus is that the mother's maiden name has been included from the beginning of registration.

Thanks Caroline. Another advantage is that it has ages for all the deaths, even the early ones. I imagine this is what is available at the FHS - much handier to be able to access it at home.

Oooh thanks for that Caroline - I've found some children I didn't know about. Sadly their deaths too....
