  • Can anyone decipher occupation on 1871 census for William Franklin

William Franklin, listed as born Pinner c1817 is on 1871 census with wife maria

I wish to find out who this William is, as far as I know the only William born in Pinner was born in 1806, he did have a wife Mary Ann Prime, but she died 1853 and he remarried to Sarah Wells.

I want to see what the occupation is as a way of starting cross checking.

    Researching:
FRANKLIN (Harrow/Pinner 1700 to 1850); PURSGLOVE (ALL Southern counties of England); POOLE (Tetbury/Malmesbury and surrounding areas of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire (1650 to 1900); READ London/Suffolk

      Thanks Terrianne.

I've been searching 1881 and 1891 census and cannot find him
Looks like the 'maria' died in 1876 (BMD Hendon)
