I thought it said unmarried but on FMP it says married ?

No, the enumerator writes Mar when they are married, her entry is U or Un I think.

Definitely not married. Not as neat as two other Un. on the page or as neat as a W. On the balance of probabilities I'd go with unmarried. It looks as if some of the form was filled in later in a hurry.

thanks very much definitely says married on fmp transcription it also says Suba ???? instead of Julia lol

Yes, but if you look very carefully you can see the 'i' has been added with a '^' below it, but at first glance you would see 'suba'
