  • Davage or Davidge

    Hi,

I have come across a Winifred (Winnie) Davage in the 1901 and 1911 census in Alverstoke. She was living with her Grandmother Emma Duke (nee Williams) I have been unable to find a birth for Winifred c 1899 Blandford. Dorset.
It is possible she wasn't registered. I don't know who her mother was, been looking
for a Duke Davage/Davidge marriage, not found one.

    Anyone have any ideas ?

    Cheers

    Clare

      Hi Jayne,

I had not thought of looking for Duke My Grandmother, who would have been Winifried's Aunt was called
Maud, I wonder if either Maud or one of her sisters had a baby out of wedlock ....
