Strictly non-urgent, but I started doing the I-wonder-who-the-ancestors-were thing to do with a friend's tree, but then got stalled at 1911, and can't see why.
Henry William HICKMAN m Sarah Jane E GLENN, 1908q2 Grantham, Lincs
As far as I can tell ~ on a strictly no-proper-back-up basis ~ they went on having children until b 1932q1, so I'd infer that Sarah was reasonably young.
There's a John William HICKMAN b Grantham Dec 1908 - but no MMN that early, of course. The first record with the MMN match is 1911q4 Spalding; there's a later child b 1914 in Lichfield, and all the rest were b (or registered, anyway) in Nottingham. All the children I've found had at least two Christian names.
I thought I'd tried most likely tricks to winkle them out in the 1911 census, but I just can't see them. I can't be sure that John William is theirs; I couldn't spot a death for him before 1911. Can anyone else?
