I can't help with the Will I'm afraid but if you put George Staniland (as per your posts in another forum) in a search on The National Archives website this pops up
Supreme Court of Judicature and former Superior Co... J 90/1139
Cause: Staniland v Staniland (1863 S259). Duplicate inventory - signed by defendant Ann Staniland - of effects subject to will of George Staniland still in her possession at farm at Kexby [LINCS.]; plaintiffs being Mary Ann Cooke Staniland and infants
Date: 1865

hi
thanks for this information
sounds like their daughter was contesting the will the next child was a son joseph maybe he was set to inherit the farm as george was a farmer in his own right not a tenant farmer and joseph was a farmer too and in 1891 "lived by own means" appeared on the census in 1881 as an annuitant which i am not sure of the meaning of
sounds interesting so will have to get copies of both items
