I have noticed lately I seem to be getting ads on some sites, is this Adblock a good thing to install ??? thanks

Hi Val,

Do you have Kaspersky internet security, think I remember you posting something about it.

There's an anti-banner option within Kaspersky which blocks ads.

You have to enable it, it isn't automatically enabled.

You can also now upgrade the 2010 version to 2011 free.

We have only 2mths left but have been able to upgrade to 2011.

I just purchased the 2010 one for 2 years Christine are you saying you can upgrade the whole thing to 2011 ????
Just checked my adblock on there and it says enabled ??

Yes you can upgrade to 2011.

On the Kaspersky interface click on Support, then fast track support.

It should then tell you about the new version to download.

That's strange, I've just tried it on one computer which I hadn't upgraded and that's what came up, so am now upgrading that one.

Hi Val,

It's only free because you already have the 2010 version, not free to anyone, ours will still run out in 2mths.

It only upgrades your existing licence to the new version.

Val son did his as he only bought his couple months ago but I only have 42 days ledft on mine and it let me upgrade ;;

Val, It's an upgrade not an update. 2010 version to 2011.

It advised in the support section to do it, I suppose it will be an improved version.

As you have a long time left on yours then I would do it on all computers you have it on.
