She was alive on the 1911 census but???

Hello Emily Bailey was born in 1846 in Chelsea in 1846. On the 1911 census she was liiving in Battersea aged 65 and a Laundress and ironer . I can't find her death can you help please

There is a death on Free BMD for an Emily G Bailey aged 70 in Chelsea March qtr 1919. 1a 653.

I know that makes her age wrong by a couple of years, but maybe the person who registered her death just guessed at her age.

Hi Sue, I think you may be right. Her husband Daniel died or vanished I don't know which . She got married under the name Martina Oates. but after that she seems to have changed again to Emily .
