I'd say MEYHEW as the surname, seems logical thats the only name it can be, (well only one I can think of!) Perhaps their marriage (his daughters) would give the correct MN or one of the childrens birth certs?
as for POB, is ESSEX, but I dont know that area that well and have no real idea, of what the other two words say, to say the enumerators writing is terrible is an understatement!!Last edited by Darksecretz; 10-06-10, 20:46.Julie

in the 1851 census place of father is Gestingthorpe Essex mother C Hedingham Essex (could be Sible Hedingham)

yes it's all done via Ancestry.co.uk the London Metropolitan Archives results appear under the Birth, Marriages & Deaths.
If on the homepage you just enter weybrew in surname and do an exact search with only show results from the UK & Ireland ticked.
(I take it you are using the Old Search) then you click on view all 170 results under BM&D and the various London,England results show up.
I used a search of LMA marriages for George Gay to find his weybrew wife.
Now you need to be aware of alternative spellings of Weybrew such as Whybrow etc
