  • Help needed, please, reducing size of a scan

    John in Japan or, I think, Julie helped me before with this kind of thing.

    I cannot do this myself, so please could someone help me with it? Thank you.

    When I scan a picture on to my PC it is saved automatically in MY SCANS. I then open this file and select it and go to SAVE AS and save it as a .jpg


    I then drag it to my pictures. Here I open it with MS Picture Manager or what ever your version is called and then you can go to TOOLS and the drop down menu gives you the option to rezise. I would then make a copy of it and have a practice.
    I think the way that John would have told you may have been to go to MS Paint and Open MS Scan File, select image, or document and again you should get the option to resize and save as jpg.

    This is my way of doing it maybe round the houses but it works (with luck).
