Transfer information on Ancestry.co.uk ?

Hi everyone, I have another Ancestry.co.uk question.
I have started to add my brother-in-law's tree to mine.
I now want to start this in it's own tree and delete the information from mine.
Is there a way I can transfer all this information with out having to re-type it ?

Do you have any family tree software on your own computer? If so you could download a GEDCOM file from Ancestry, import it into your program and then export a new GEDCOM specifying certain individuals only, i.e. your brother-in-law's side of the tree. You then upload the new reduced GEDCOM to Ancestry. Your original file on Ancestry wont be affected as long as you give the newly created file a different name.
