Office 2010

I noticed in a magazine that it is possible to download Office 2010 to sample it.

What happens when it is downloaded ~ does it over write my present office 2007? Or is it a seperate package?

Will people with older PC's be able to read documents you send them or maybe you have to save them in another format. You never know what software others have.

Dave downloaded it and he was told it would upgrade his existing 2007 installation. He did this and so far has had no problems. There is no change in the way files are saved between 2007 and 2010, however the problem of sending files to pre-2007 users is still the same as before.

You can save files in a compatible format using the save as function and then choosing which format you want.
