Ooh.... i know there are some connections for this surname to London, just never quite sorted them out properly, i noticed a few bits in the name of William and Mary Ann in later years on freebmd. Maybe a naming pattern used for the children.

Will pm you in a mo.

      Thanks

            Mary A Pyott 40
            Therasa Isabella Pyott 5

            James Roguele 28

This is the family in 1871

              Samuel Pyott 50
              Mary Pyott 59
              Isabella Pyott 15
              Therease Earle 79
              William Smith 27

But... there is a birth registration for Theressa Isabella Pyott as follows

              Theresa Isabella Pyott
              Year of Registration: 1855
              Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
              District: Pancras (1837-1901)
              County: London, Middlesex

              So the plot thickens.....

N.B. William Goulson is recorded as Nephew

                  The Mitchell name appears in a marriage too;

1864 at Christ Church, Marylebone, Samuel Goulson, full age, bachelor, Grocer, Park St, (father William Goulson, labourer)and Mary Ann Mitchell, full age, widow, College St., father Henry Earle, carpenter.

Only question is......what is the Pyott thing doing in the equation.
