  • Know of Death in Canada 1989 yet cannot find Record?

    I found this before on Ancestry but for some reason did not save the record ??? now I cannot find it

      she was the widow of Rolland Goulet

              Might be wrong but don't think Quebec records were online. I've tried in the past to find 2 of mine but never been able to come up with anything.

                      According to this site http://simmons.b2b2c.ca/attach1.htm there was no formal civil registration system in Quebec prior to 1994 and I think it most likely you found the entry on a cemetery site.

                      It looks as if Manoir Trinite Centre D'Accueil is in Longueuil, Quebec, which is close to Montreal (Googlemaps says it's a hospital). You could try contacting the Quebec Family History Society (http://www.qfhs.ca/), they may be able to help, or posting on Rootschat.

                        thanks Jenny I know she is buried in the Hawthorn Cemetary which I believe is close by ? will try that link thanks .
