Help with death please

Hi a relative has found record of a burial of William John Bond in Charlton Kings Glos 23/11/1900 age 25 but i am trying to find his death to order the cert to see if he died due to being in the boer war.He was born c1875.I have tried free bmd but cant find a match their.The relative is trying to locate his grave for me.
