Can anyone help with this military uniform

Hi

hopefully i have attached a pretty poor picture. This man was born in 1894 so im thinking that it is a WW1 uniform. However he died in Canada in 1959 so i have no idea if this is British or Canadian (or even american!!) the only possible thing i can make out is what looks like 2 crossed swords or guns on his arm? although it could actually be just a crease!

I can't help with identifying the uniform, but one of my grandmother's cousins emigrated to Canada from England, before being killed in France while serving in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WWI.

I found his attestation papers online. You could check for your man's papers there too.
