Can someone point me in the direction where I can find info on the Royal Theatre in Dublin? I'm mainly interested in info pre 1858.
thanks

There doesn't seem to be anything specific for Ireland, but there are some links on
http://www.familytreeforum.com/conte...-Entertainment
in our Reference Library which may lead you elsewhere.

A few possible useful links:
Annals of the Theatre Royal, Dublin, from its opening in 1821 to its destruction by fire, February 1880
- you can view the whole book online (click on read online in left hand column) - or download it as a pdf file.
Irish Theatre Archives, Dublin City Archives
Theatre Royal Dublin - wikipedia
There are also some general links in our
Reference Library
