Hi folks
May I throw a really difficult one for me to solve that of a Soldier in WW1 and to locate his service record.
I have checked all the Ancestry WW1 searches and located the person I am looking for in the WW1 Medal Rolls and it fits perfectly but further searches for WW1 have found nothing.
I realize that any search involves time and I would really appeciate if anyone could check out further WW1records on the web please...the details are as follows
Charles James Williams
Born July 1889, unknown location
1914 was living in Stanford Hill, London it is beleived
He enlisted with the Royal Field Artillary
His servise number was 61933
He became a Cpl.
Thanks so much in advance
Tony Palmer
